Owners Robby and Barbie built the cabin in 2007. They discovered Lake Eufaula (also called George F. Walter lake) on a week-end trip to celebrate a birthday and fell in love with the clear water and sandy beaches and tall Georgia pine trees and the surrounding Alabama Hills - the lake is Ideal for swimming, boating and fishing and has many fishing tournaments and events held at the George T. Bagby State Park which is where they stayed for their week-end and later purchased the Buck Creek Cabin lake lot just 3 miles north of that State Park.
